Our History

It all started during the first sememster of the 98-99 school year. Scott and I (John) were working down in Scott's room on our Linear Algebra assignment due the next day, while we listened to a CD of the acappella group that had recently performed on campus, Soul Support. Scott and I sang along to the tunes coming from the stereo, and Scott said to me, "We could do that, couldn't we?" I responded, "Yeah, let's do it." So, we decided that the best people we could get to sing with us were Cory and Nate, so we "hired" them. After two weeks, when we were finally able to get the four of us in the same room, we asked them to be part of the group. The response was enthusiastic and we started our group seriously soon after the start of the second sememster.

In the past year, we have grown dynamically as a group, realizing more and more what we are capable of and not capable of. We feel we are different than a lot of other college acappella groups, for we write our own songs, as well as use other people's music. All arrangements are our own, and although they may not be musically perfect, they come from our hearts and our love for God.
